This semester, 19 professors are making their debut as tenure-line faculty at Bucknell University. All three of Bucknell's colleges — arts & sciences, engineering and management — gain new expertise with the addition of these teacher-scholars, whose pursuit of knowledge spans the academy.

"This fall, we are thrilled to welcome another group of exceptional new faculty members to Bucknell," said Provost Barbara Altmann. "These are shining stars of the academic world who emerged from a highly competitive hiring process. Our newest colleagues bring with them an array of interests and expertise, from cultural geography and consumer behavior to supramolecular chemistry and drama theory. We all look forward to developing many wonderful partnerships with these new colleagues as they launch, or continue, their academic careers at the University."
